Terrace Office
Brief
A small studio building for a media company that wanted its own working culture to be legible from the street.
Problem
Standard office floorplates in the area rely entirely on mechanical cooling and deep glazed façades — the opposite of the client's stated values.

Spatial Concept
Working life spills onto the terraces — meetings, breaks and informal work happen outside as often as inside.
Material Strategy
Exposed in-situ concrete structure, timber-slat solar screens on the west face, planted terrace edges.
Environmental Response
Stepped massing self-shades; only the deepest floor plates use mechanical assistance, and that only in peak afternoon hours.
Outcome
Under construction; expected completion late 2027.
